The grocer’s employees own and run Coborn’s, Inc., which is a 95-year-old employee-owned grocery retailer. With 55 stores in Minnesota, it also operates under the Cash Wise Foods and Marketplace Foods banners.

The meal kits are made to order and are freshly prepared. The convenience factor is one of the primary reasons meal kits are becoming more popular.
